Tactical Combat Casualty Care – All Combatants/Law Enforcement & First Responder (TCCC-AC/LEFR)

Program Description 

Core competencies: Hands on and didactic training. Course is designed for the street medical providers and law enforcement personnel that would first-respond to these active threat events, with a concentration of forcing forward urgent medical care to the victims.

· History and Response – Past & Present to active threat events

· Basics of hemorrhage control, airway, ventilation, and shock

· Role of Incident Command; Law Enforcement with EMS coordination

· Ballistics, Explosives and physiology of wounding

· New perspectives on medical response to MCI incidents

Priority Seating: Chester County EMS Providers affiliated with EMS Agencies participating in the Regional Task Force Active Threat project.  This class is required to obtain grant purchased Active Threat equipment.
