Description: There is much more to being a Fire Police officer than simply setting up cones and directing traffic. Professionalism and confidence are a product of proper training and the proper application of that training. This course combines classroom lecture, table-top scenarios, and group discussion to provide the Fire Police Officer with increased knowledge and understanding of the following topics:

    • Situational Awareness
    • Health and safety issues related to job functions, duties and qualifications
    • Legal concepts that impact the Fire Police Officer
    • Effective communications tools
