Description: This 8 – hour course presented by the FBI Evidence Response Team will focus on collecting evidence and photographing a crime scene. Some topics that will be coved during the course will be:

  • Evidence collection & packaging
  • Crime scene photography
  • Vehicle photography
  • Painting with light
  • Digital evidence collection
  • Practical exercise (vehicle search)

All law enforcement officers participating in the training are asked to bring in a DSLR camera with wide to medium zoom lens, remote trigger, flash, and tripod. These will be needed to do the paint with light.

Course Length: 8-hours

Equipment Needs: Note-taking material and DSLR camera with wide to medium zoom lens, remote trigger, flash, and tripod.
