Description: More than 60% of officer-involved shootings occur between 6:00 PM & 6:00 AM. This course is designed for officers to gain skills and develop and ability to win confrontations during lowlight situations. This hands-on course will explores the tactical advantages of multiple lighting systems and techniques. Techniques will be explored with hand held and weapon mounted lights. Topics include: Eyesight during low light
Firearm mounted lights
Night sights
Flashlight management
Tactical use of lights
Back lighting
Safety issues
