Description: The community’s expectations of public safety personnel are greater today than ever before. The successful teaching and instruction of state of the art and best practices training and education is paramount to both delivering the services the community expects and to also protecting ourselves and our various departments and agencies from the fallout that can come from litigation involving training deficiencies etc. This course will help elevate already certified instructors to the next level of providing legally defensible education and training to their various personnel. For those participants who are not already instructors, this course will provide you with a wide variety of principles and concepts on training which should assist you when you attend your initial instructor certification school in the future. Participants in this course will be exposed to a wide variety of instructional methodologies and be given several free handouts and power points for future use, or to use as examples for the development of their own training materials later. Please feel free to bring current training course materials or programs and the instructor will be happy to provide a short evaluation/assessment where possible changes could be implemented to help enhance the end product.
