Course Description : Chester County Hazmat Team members will review simple to complex decontamination practices for Hazmat Operations Level Emergency Responders. This program consists of a combination of lecture and hands on training.

Topics include:

• ICS for Hazmat.

• Review of commonly used reference materials.

• Review of the various levels of hazmat suits.

• How to develop a decontamination plan.

• Review of decontamination practices.

Class will meet in the outdoor classroom in the tactical village.

Training Audience: Firefighters and Officers

Prerequisites: Age 16 or older, Hazmat Operations Level training.

P.P.E.: Full turnout gear including SCBA with spare cylinder.

Certificate: Chester County Public Safety Training Campus
