Description: This training will provide patrol officers with the essential skills to operate effectively in low-light and no-light environments. The ability to perform under these conditions is critical when responding to narcotics-related operations, where criminal elements often conduct illegal activities in dimly lit or concealed settings. This class will help officers navigate these situations safely and effectively, ensuring they can identify threats and protect public safety.

Training Audience: Law Enforcement Officers

Prerequisite(s): None

Course Length: 8 hours

Equipment Needs: Note-taking material, baseball type hat, eye protection, long Sleeve Shirt (optional), pants (No shorts), gunbelt / duty gear used during normal tour of duty, gloves (optional), serviceable Flashlight, water source and snacks, and closed toed shoes (no flip flops/sandals).
