Rescuing the Down Firefighter before RIT arrival

Course Description: NEW COURSE OFFERING  This 4 hour, physically demanding in service training for the engine or truck company, will have the students perform size up, initiate fire ground offensive actions, make quick critical life saving decisions for themself and fellow responders before the arrival of the RIT team.

Portable radio familiarization.

Working safely and efficiently in zero visibility.

Calling for additional resources and personnel.

Training Audience: Firefighters

Prerequisite (s): Interior FF certificate or Proboard Firefighter 1, and clean shaven

P.P.E.: Full structural turnout gear including SCBA, spare cylinder, long sleeve shirt and pants

Certificate: Chester County Certificate
