Description: A 75-question written exam consisting of randomly generated questions related to learning objectives found in the Hazardous Materials Operations curriculum. Participants will also complete a skills examination.

Application Requirements: Completed applications must be received　at the test site (CCPSTC three　weeks　(21 days) prior to the written test date.　Applications received after this deadline, or incomplete applications will NOT be accepted for testing.

Prerequisite(s): 16 years old or older, FEMA SID number (click here to obtain a FEMA SID number), and one of the following certificates:

• Core Competencies

• Hazardous Materials Awareness Level 470 or 1072 (Pro-Board, IFSAC or DOD) certification AND
• Hazardous Materials Operations Level 470 or 1072 initial or annual refresher training course AND
• Hazardous Materials Awareness Level 470 or 1072 annual refresher training course

• Mission Specific Certifications

• Hazardous Materials Awareness Level 470 or 1072 (Pro-Board, IFSAC or DOD) certification AND
• Hazardous Materials Operations Level 470 or 1072 initial or annual refresher training course AND
• Hazardous Materials Operations Level 470 or 1072 Core Competencies Certification (Pro-Board, IFSAC or DOD) (if testing Mission Specific competencies only)
