Description: This 48-hour course will equip entry level firefighters with the knowledge, skills, and abilities that focus on interior fire ground operations. The course will consist of lecture and practical’s consisting of:
FACIAL HAIR IS NOT PERMITTED IN THIS MODULE This course is the fourth and final module of the PA State Fire Academy’s Entry Level Fire Training Curriculum At the completion of this module participants will have the option to participate in the Firefighter I Certification Challenge.
Training Audience: Firefighters starting their career in the fire service Prerequisite(s): Must be 17 years old, Exterior Firefighter (ELEF) certificate, Hazardous Materials Operations Certificate, ICS 100, ICS 700. Age 17 to 18, students must possess a proper work permit from your school district. They must be turned on the first day of training. Earlier submissions are ok. Course Length: 48 hours Textbook: Fire Fighting manual and skills book, will be provided at an additional charge.
