Description: With only minutes making the difference between a patient's life and death, Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) highlights the need for the best team performance possible. This is true whether you work in a hospital or pre-hospital environment. In this hands-on interactive course you will see how team performance in resuscitation can instill saving lives into part of a team's character. You will experience how simulation can lead to improved individual competency, team coordination, team assertiveness, and team familiarity with a process. You will also discover how simulation can help teams develop situational awareness, overcome the unexpected, and develop the adaptive behavior necessary when things don't go as planned.
