Right Front Seat This class is designed for the firefighter and new line officer who are responsible for operating as the officer in charge of a group of firefighters on the first arriving apparatus at a structure fire. This class will discuss topics such as: · Building Construction and Fire Behavior Factors · Roles and Responsibilities of Fire Department Personnel · Scene Size Up · Fireground Decision Making · Fire Confinement, Exposure Protection and Fire Extinguishment · Ventilation and Rescue Operations A portion of this class will provide lecture on these important topics. There will be a substantial amount of time dedicated for students to participate in scenario based exercises applying the knowledge they have received in the lecture portion of this class. County Certificate will be issued |
