Description: More than 60% of officer-involved shootings occur between 6:00 PM & 6:00 AM. This course is designed for officers to gain skills and develop and ability to win confrontations during lowlight situations. This hands-on course will explores the tactical advantages of multiple lighting systems and techniques. Techniques will be explored with hand held and weapon mounted lights.

Topics include:

  • Eyesight during low light
  • Firearm mounted lights
  • Night sights
  • Flashlight management
  • Tactical use of lights
  • Back lighting
  • Safety issues
  • Training Audience: Law Enforcement Officers

Course Length: 8-hours

Equipment Needs: Pen / pencil, note-taking material. Required: Hearing and Eye Protection, Duty Belt, Sidearm, 300 rounds of ammo.
