Exterior Response to Active Shooter Events (ERASE) Train-the Trainer There is no charge for this training. It is funded through state and federal grants. Description: This course includes the completer delivery of the ERASE course of study as well as:
Officers attending this course should be able to walk moderate distances, jog, kneel, crawl, and lift moderate weight. Participants are provided with all lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, student manuals, and related courseware so that they are immediately prepared to deliver the Exterior Response to Active Shooter Events course at their home agency. Prerequisite(s): Sworn law enforcement officer Course Length: 5 days (40 hours) Class Size: 15 Equipment Needs: Good attitude, open mind, pen and paper, duty gear, clothing conducive for crawling around on the ground, water and or hydration system, body armor, long gun (if issued), and inclement weather gear (majority of course is outside regardless of weather conditions) Participants are responsible for their own transportation and lodging.
