Description: This course will cover the classes, types, components, equipment, and safety considerations when using standpipe systems. Firefighting operations, preplanning considerations, and overcoming problems will also be addressed. The morning session will be lecture and equipment familiarization with practical exercises in the afternoon.

Training Audience: All firefighters

Prerequisite(s): None

Course Length: 8-hours

Certification: Chester County certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course requirements.

Textbook: Training materials will be provided in class.

Equipment Needs: Pen / pencil, note-taking material. Full turnout gear will be required for the practical evolutions including SCBA with spare cylinder.
