Description: This course will provide a deeper understanding of sound principles for patrol. Use of force and how it applies to different situations will be covered. Officers will receive a more comprehensive look at real world tactics that have been proven to work. Tactics are more than a step-by-step process. Advanced Tactics allows the officer to use a principle-based decision-making process to navigate the real world. Decision making under stress is extremely difficult. This training will build a solid foundation now. It will assist you in growing in knowledge and skill well into the future.

Training Audience: Law Enforcement Officers

Prerequisite(s): None

Course Length: 24 Hours

Equipment Needs: Department Issued handgun and Rifle, Handgun Holster (Duty-Belt Acceptable), Handheld Flashlight (Weapon Mounted Light also desired), Body armor, Safety Glasses and Ear Protection, 500 Rounds Handgun and 500 Rounds Rifle ammo.
