Description: This course is a concentration on the skills aspect of an Active Threat. Physically engaging or shooting in an active threat, in a mass shooting environment, requires a high degree of skill in tactics, marksmanship, and decision making. This class goes deeper into the physical skills required to successfully end the threat. Topics include: entries and weapon utilization in a 540 degree environment (possibly 720 degrees), breaching, priority of work, and threshold management. Both the classroom and practical sessions will take place at: Chester County Public Safety Training Campus, 137 Modena Road Coatesville, PA 19320 Training Audience: Law Enforcement Officers Prerequisite(s): None Course Length: 8 Hours Equipment Needs: Note taking materials and duty gear.
